Christmas day so many pictures to pick from but not so many with both so chose this one of the two of them with their new bikes! G was so made up with his new bike but seems a bit big for him and prefers his trike off auntie and uncle

Project 365 - day 319
Here's G with the contents of his man bag he demanded as B got a pink bag for her birthday what every 2 year old boy needs including a dressing gown strap???
Christmas coffee
Now B's birthday is over and done with we can start the countdown to Christmas. So I was super excited when I received some limited edition seasonal blend reindeer rocket to try from bigcuplittlecup
Reindeer rocket is a full bodied 'big cup' (Lungo) coffee packing a punch at strength 9 and is perfect to warm yourself up against the winter chill. It feels festive immediately from opening the box each pod is wrapped like a Xmas present with its own cute little stamp!
The wonderful people at bigcuplittlecup have plenty of variety to suit every palate and this limited edition will soon be on sale, as a thank you to my readers they have given me a discount code for 15% off your first online order, just enter the unique code BALDRICK15 at the checkout and enjoy
I received Reindeer rocket free of charge to sample, all opinions are my own and truthful
We have had our nespresso machine for a good six or seven years now and wouldn't be without it my dad loves it so much he makes us stock up before he comes to visit! I wasn't much of a coffee drinker until we got it especially not espressos but I've found myself needing more and more since having the kids! I've recently got into drinking lungos adding a splash of milk to the stronger ones whereas hubby prefers the strong espressos.

Having never used anything other than Nespresso pods I have to admit I was a little sceptical but I needn't have worried the pods fit perfectly although because they are recyclable plastic you do need to push a little harder on the top to pierce.
Tasting notes:- Reindeer rocket is a limited edition rich coffee with an intense flavour. Arabica beans from Southern Brazil and Central America and Southern Indian Robusta beans create a powerful and bold coffee with flavours of dark choclate and chestnut that lingers with a sweet, smoky finish on the palate.
Our old manual machine seemed a little slower in flow but as you can see by the lovely crema head that it didn't affect the coffee
Now ordinarily I would drink my coffee like this or with a splash of milk but today I was a football widow so decided to treat myself to a lovely cappuccino, the lovely strong flavour of reindeer rocket lends itself well to a longer milky drink without it tasting like hot milk! I must admit I got a bit festive and got out the xmas stencils, all thats missing is a mince pie! Starting to feel more christmassy already!
