This week G has been play acting being daddy going to work - all off his own back he got a box with a handle which looks like a brief case and some keys and a phone free with his peppa pig magazine.  He walks off with them saying bye and giving kisses! - so cute! Today he took it one step further trying to put daddy's tie on so I gave him a helping hand.

And yes I know our Easter decorations are still up but I've now taken them down this evening!

A lovely day out in Bolton today with a trip to the aquarium and museum complete with dinosaur and mummies followed by a cheeky chocolate babyccino stop!

Today we managed to get back to nature tots spurred on by the fabulous gruffalo hunt we managed to get up and out by 9!! They had a fabulous time today's theme was birds and we went looking for nests and built a giant one which they all piled in great team work!

Today we went on a gruffalo hunt at brockholes G had great fun especially making some gruffalo crumble (mud pies!)

Easter crafts day today at a friends house 5 kids between 18months and 2yrs and baby B they loved it G was the most enthusiastic especially when he got to son his chefs outfit to make some Easter crispy buns.  I also secretly as I didn't volunteer to host it what a mess!!!

A lovely sunny if not a bit nippy trip to Blackpool zoo today I'm loving that G is just the right age to appreciate it now and gave us a running account if sound effects as we went around here he is with one of his favourites 'araffe'!

Today we had a lovely morning at Harriet's family class to tire out the little ones before the grown ups indulged in an amazing afternoon picnic bench tea at the garden kitchen at Holden clough garden centre.  G who is teething hasn't eaten properly for a week but as you can see his little face lighting up shouting 'Cayke' he ate half of my desserts!

This is our latest fascination - Peppa pig! Glad there are hundreds of them not had too many repeats yet! G just keeps snorting and pointing at the tv!

Today's new food was G's favourite - blueberries they're a hit though daddy did ask if she'd had a nosebleed during the day as little crusty bits left around her nostrils! Here she is showing me how it's done!
