Puddley path along the Wyre estuary

Today we've been for a lovely walk in the Wyre estuary country park, G fell asleep in the car on the way there for about half an hour it was lunchtime when we arrived so we decided to gave our butties before setting off just as G woke up in a foul mood and wobbly legged so when we set off from car park he started off in the pram.

In the country park they have what is known as a 'tramper path' which I needed to google and is apparently some sort of all terrain mobility scooter! So should be pram friendly, luckily we'd gone prepared with Wellies and walking boots as the paths although pretty much flat were full of muddy puddles.  So we got G out and let him loose on the puddles, he loved it splashing and kicking, there was also plenty of boats and dogs for him to point out.

We even saw a little egret!

We made footprints in the mud and compared them to horseshoes.

We had to splash (or as G says 'dip dip') in every puddle ( there were plenty!) and sit on every bench along the path

but I think his little legs started getting tired on the way back and there were a few stumbles including a full face down in one puddle!!!

Somebody stayed asleep the whole way round so missed everything

After all that walking we'd all earned a cream tea in the park's cafe daddy even let G lick out the little jam jar!

Not sure that was the best idea as thinking he would fall asleep again on the way home we had lots of screeching and singing all the way back!  Hopefully he'll sleep tonight!
